What does Swedish-made mean?
A Swedish company, Swedish ingredients and production in Sweden describe three different things. A Swedish brand may manufacture abroad, while a product mixed and packed in Sweden may contain imported ingredients. Choose the manufacturing country that matches your own priority.
This guide covers complete meal powders in the Foodshakes catalogue. Protein supplements and diet replacements with a different purpose do not become comparable merely because they are made in the same country. The manufacturing statements below come from the manufacturers and identify their product scope.
Which meal powders have evidence of Swedish production?
ComFoo identifies Skåne as the production location for its Original, Sport and Krismat meal ranges. MËTTA says its food shakes are produced and packed in Sweden at a facility south of Stockholm. That statement covers the Original and Protein Plus meal ranges.
Both brands are included where the manufacturer’s statement covers the current range. Flavours covered by an explicit range statement are also included unless a more specific declaration contradicts it. These are manufacturer production statements, rather than an independent factory inspection.
Choose a range by recipe and use
ComFoo Original is oat-based. Sport has its own gluten-free recipe and a higher-protein emphasis. Krismat instructions describe preparation as hot porridge or a cold shake, which can be useful if you want different formats from the same bag. Follow the exact flavour’s instructions.
MËTTA Original and Protein Plus are meal powders with different nutrient balances. Protein Plus contains wheat protein. MËTTA describes both ranges as plant-based, but not certified vegan or gluten-free. If gluten is a decisive criterion, the difference in labelling should affect your shortlist.
Swedish production does not identify every ingredient’s origin
Manufacturing country identifies where the stated production takes place. It does not establish that oats, protein, oil, flavourings or the vitamin and mineral mix come from the same country. Ingredient origin needs separate evidence with a clear calculation basis and scope.

What do we know about other alternatives?
Jimmy Joy states that Plenny Shake is produced in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This is another verified manufacturing country, rather than a negative assessment of the product. The statement is not automatically extended to Plenny Shake Pro or Plenny Drink.
A sufficiently specific manufacturing statement is missing here for Swedish Huel Black Edition variants. Huel’s UK company location is not enough to assign a country to every flavour. Other catalogue ranges can also lack reviewed production information. Missing information means unknown, rather than proof that a product is made outside Sweden.

After choosing manufacturing country, consider recipe, flavour, pack size and total cost. Compare the same purchase type and calculate delivery for your address. Regular and promotional prices are different facts; a lower first payment may not apply to the next order.
